Since I want to try a red dot on my XDM 4.5 9mm Elite, I switched in the 9mm OSP slide and switched the barrels. My alternative was to pay $250-300 for a gunsmith to drill holes into the original non-OSP slide. The only remaining hurdle is that the OSP slide still has suppressor height sights.
