Sig p320 takedown lever

Take-down lever is very hard to turn. I just got a new P320 Compact, on a whim; I saw a Gunbroker auction expiring in an hour and bought the gun for $490 with shipping. Plus, it came with 3 magazines instead of the 2 as stated in the auction. Sweet! Anyway, rotating the task-down lever clockwise is really hard.

With the takedown lever turned back CCW to operating position I did many trigger pulls and pushed on the reset and after that rotating the takedown lever back CW it would still not lower the sear all the way.
