The Quest 3 is a huge upgrade over the Queat 2. I skipped the Q2 and went to Q3 from Q1 and I can’t imagine Q2 is with getting anymore with how amazing this new hardware is. It’s not perfect but it’s quite excellent. You can't use godlike resolution on the Quest3 with a 2060, not even sure about ultra on the Quest2.

Quest 3 natively recognises the battery strap and can use its power more intelligently. I think it runs off the strap first and then switches to internal battery. In comparison, a 3rd party powerbank would be always charging the headset, and this may lead (I suspect) to more charge-discharge cycles and more heat. The Quest 3 does have higher clarity & FOV, but the Quest 3 display also has deficiencies you have to look past or be blissfully unaware of (honestly I envy that). Owners bias is a real thing. The commonly acknowledged Quest 2 display/lens issues are only prominently being discussed without getting downvoted now that there’s something new. I guess maybe because it's not native to the Quest and requires a PC as well. Anyway, the potential for 2D content is amazing.
