Carb non EFI. Polaris service manual is really no big help. 1) Test plug against the body of the engine and no spark. Replaced plug no change. 2) Unplugged the black wire from CDI box, No change. 3) Check the ohms on everything I could and everything checked with in the spec. Except CDI because no real test fo it.

My current issue is no spark at all. None with turning the key or by pulling the pull start. Removing the cutoff wire doesn’t change anything. New plug, new plug cap, wire, ignition coil, tried different CDI, still no change., Greetings from wet Wales! I have got a 2003 Ranger 500 petrol, I have replaced the stator, coil, CDI unit, HT lead and spark plug, but still no spark, can anyone suggest anything to help? I have the same issue. This is basic diag knowledge and works for almost all Polaris models..., There's no voltage running through it ignition on or off as well as there's no continuity which means its not becoming a ground at any point. we got a wiring harness for it ordered so hopefully it comes in while Im here to put it on. Spark plug sparks fine with new spark plug 4. carburetor is receiving fuel 5. no restrictions on air flow 6. New battery 7. Freshly cleaned and rebuilt carburetor including jets, needle and seat, gasket, air screw and spring, idle screw and spring 8. Air screw is 1.5 turn from seat 9. spark plug is gapped at .025" 10., Here's the trouble shooting procedure from the Polaris manual: No Spark, Weak or Intermittent Spark. • No 12 volt power or ground to CDI. • Spark plug gap incorrect. • Fouled spark plug. • Faulty spark plug cap or poor connection to high tension. lead. • Related wiring loose, disconnected, shorted, or corroded., 2018 900 S. Have no power going to the ignition coil. Died on us Saturday on an open flat trail. Did not throw any codes and is getting fuel. Replaced spark plugs before checking the power to the coil, no volts. Replaced the CPS sensor even though it tested fine. All fuses and relays are good and the engine turns over just fine.
