Paladin oath of devotion

Oath of Devotion here, I killed the Owlbear and its kid and I didn't break shit. Heck, I accidented the tiefling bard, decided to let my party find the body and still didn't Oathbreak. I accidentally broke my Oath of Devotion by killing the 2 humans using the hanging brazier during the quest to kill the 3 goblin leaders.

Oath of Vengeance is not 'evil', where Oathbreaker typically is. Oathbreaker is violating the oath and tenants, usually acting in a cruel or evil way. A Vengeance paladin has a clear set of foes who will be punished, for a reason they deem right, adhering to a code. The Dark Urge seems to kill and be cruel and without reason or concern. On my latest run I wanted to RP an Oath of Devotion Paladin Durge, but tbh I’ve found it very underwhelming in combat so far. Turn the Unholy is extremely situational and useless literally 90% of the time. Same for Holy Rebuke - the fact that it’s an action rather than bonus action makes it worthless.
