Jun 10, 2009 · So I don’t think that this is odd that you have foul smell only under one armpit and the other one is fine. This is just how your body has developed. Now the thing is that change in body odor doesn’t indicate to anything goo and it can be a sign of some kind of disease. Also there is a possibility of bacterial infection.
When stressed, your body secretes an odorless white, milky fluid consisting of water, proteins and fats. Once the fluid mixes with natural bacteria on your skin, the bacteria eat sweat and produce a foul-smelling waste you know as B.O. These glands produce stress-induced sweat — which is why stress sweat smells extra.

I am going crazy with my underarm smell. I use Dial antibacterial soap for 60+ seconds, enough to kill the bacteria on the surface, but I think the bacteria are deep in my underarm hair follicles and pores.
