How to remove spare tire from f150

The F-150 spare tire should always be mounted with the valve stem (the thing you put air into) pointing out. If you cannot see the valve stem, the spare tire on F-150 is mounted backwards. In addition, if your F-150 has a donut spare (a small spare tire), then you should mount it on one of the rear wheels when you are in a safe area to do so.

Most spares come from the factory with the valve stem pointed up in the stored position - makes it a pain to lower just to add/check air, so one of the 1st things I do on a new-to-me truck is flip the spare so the valve stem is down.
