How to configure a comcast router

I'd like to add an access point to the network to extend the range and improve wifi performance in our home. I'd like the xF1 and access router to act as one so users move seamlessly from one device to the other as they move through our home. What are the settings and process to setup the system. I have Ubiqiti lite access point.
