Four Samford Greek chapters were nationally recognized in the 2013 awards cycle. Alpha Delta Pi sorority was recognized with the "Golden Lion" placing them the top 16 chapters in their organization. Samford's Kappa chapter has earned this distinction 16 times since 1981, which is more than any other currently active chapter.
A lot of the larger schools have deep cuts early, leaving many confused & leaving the process all together. Samford is so fortunate to have all really wonderful sororities. It’s my understanding that they take the number of girls on Pref & divide by 6 (# of sororities) = # of girls for that years pledge class.
