Dilated 3 cm at 37 weeks

If it is your first baby, you may or may not be dilated anything at 37 weeks. I was 1 cm/50% for 2 weeks and then all of a sudden was 2-3 cm/75%. It doesn't tell you when you will go into labor if that's what you are asking. You can be dilated 4 or 5 cm for weeks or not be dilated at all and all of a sudden go into labor.

I have been at 1.5 cm since 28 weeks and am now 33 weeks. I've gone from 50 % to 75% effaced over the last couple of weeks. You can basically hang out for months.
