Metal wire is used to make gates. Find some metal wire instead and the option should come up to attach it. 1.It's dependent on how you place and not which side you're standing on when you're actually building the parts of the fence. Sad to see people downvote players looking for help. Im not sure if you still need help but you should be able to fold it, make sure your hands are empty. just use hands from inside looking at it. You need to find the right spot. If you already put the logs in and used a shovel then you need to use a shovel.Aim for the bottom where the fence is broken and once you break that, the lock will fall off. I only do that on 4 dial locks. Any wall with a 3 dial can be easily opened by just going through the 3 dial combinations.
