The writing style for the real thing just felt more poorly written and didn’t have as much of a standard format as uworld Q’s do. However, I've seen it correlate to your chances of passing comlex. Find something that works for you and keep at it. 1.damn 500 is a lofty goal that was like 75th percentile for my class on comsae 106 this year (given it was taken near the beginning of our dedicated). Pick your poison, but pick one. You need to annotate UWorld somewhere, and having a review book provides the framework to do so. First Aid for Step 1: this book is still high yield for Level 2/Step 2.
