Last night a dear friend & I decided to catch up on some lost time & a nice dinner at Bonefish Grill. Neither one of us are drinkers so we skipped the cocktails & appetizers. We both decided on one of the specials of the night. Caribbean Cobia. The Cobia was grilled to perfection with 3 shrimp a top the fish. It came with a nice pineapple salsa .Well! Had gotten a gift card to Bonefish Grill. Decided to try it tonight, 8/6/23. Checked a number of reviews which were very mixed. Have never been to a Bonefish Grill before, as hubby and I usually prefer stand alone, original restaurants to any chains. Anyway, arrived Sunday evening about 5:30 at Clearwater location.Flying Biscuit is slightly cheaper, much cheesier and greasier. I like Bonefish Grill's shrimp + girts much more. The olives and sundried tomatoes added a lot to the flavor. I passed out after brunch for two hours because the shrimp + grits are 1500 calories.
