Here's hoping you don't need 5 copies of an adept raid weapon to unlock the adept recipe. Hopefully it will be more along the lines of being able to make an adept version as long as you have the normal pattern and have had the adept drop.

As is tradition, enhanced perks on crafted guns are better than normal perks with an adept mod. The only benefit to Adept is that you get 2 sets of perks so you might get a good flex weapon.
