With baby #3, I was at 3cm and 75% effaced from 36-39wks and 4cm 80% effaced and still didnt go into active labor until 40wks. Had her on her due date. Got to the hospital at 4am had her at 3:30pm. Everyone is different though. My babies seem to never want to come in a hurry. lol.
